Meaning and Mission
Home STINKY Home, like Home SWEET Home, but STINKY… The explanation given is always the same whenever someone asks us to repeat when they hear it the first time.
The name itself comes from the idea of buying small value-add multifamily properties in blue collar neighbors where some landlords have being operating for far too long. Taking over these properties, having a long-term mindset and making a long-term commitment to the community, we transform the properties from STINKY to SWEET.
Home Sweet Home is where everyone wants to live. We try to provide this feeling of home to all our tenants and in return we are rewarded tenfold in appreciation and stability.
2012
1st Property ACQUISITION
The investing journey began with a house hack on a 4-plex. What better way to start.
2014
2nd Property Acquisition
Purchase of a Duplex in a residential neighborhood that we call home.
2016
Investing ConTinues...
We pickup another Duplex about 0.5 miles from home and open our first LLC.

Better late than never, we learn about the velocity of money and how debt is a good thing.

THINGS Start Getting Serious
Market heats up, so do we. We start creating processes and Property Management Software in order to scale.

First Major Rehab completed while juggling Tenants, General Contractor, Subs and our Careers.
